Four killed as vehicle skids off the road in Doda

Four people died after a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road near Thathri in Doda, police sources said.

They said that a vehicle, bearing registration number JK06-3392, was on its way to Thathri from Cheerah village, when it rolled down into a 200 feet deep gorge.

All four persons on board were injured in the accident, police said, adding that the injured were rushed to Emergency Hospital Thathri where doctors declared three of them as brought dead, while the fourth person succumbed to his injuries later.

The deceased were identified as Altaf Hussain S/o Mohammadd Iqbal Naik, Yasir Ahmed S/o Abdul Rashid Butt, Touqeer Ahmed S/o Remtullah all residents of Village Zanhari Teh, Thathri and Rashid Hussain S/o Munhwar Din R/o Rangola Thathri.
