Multiple funerals held for slain Jaish militant in Tral

Multiple funerals were held on Sunday for the slain Jaish militant Mukhtar Ahmad  who was killed in a gunfight with government forces in forests of Satura Tral along with other two associates yesterday.

Pro-freedom and pro-militants and anti-India slogans were raised during the funeral of the slain militant.

Three militants including a foreign militant  were killed yesterday in a gunfight with government forces in Satora forests of Tral.

Thousands of people attended the funeral prayers of slain  militant.

Mukhtar was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Ameerabad Tral.

Meanwhile funeral prayers of Parvaiz Ahmed who was killed in the same encounter was also held in his ancestral village Rakh Llajurah. Thousands of mourners participated in his  funeral prayers.

Following the death of three militants in the area, spontaneous shutdown is being observed in Tral area of Pulwama district on second consecutive day.
