Hizb module busted in Pattan: Police

A Hizbul Mujahideen recruitment module was today busted by Baramulla police assisted by security forces in Pattan, police said.

According to the police officials, Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit has been active in the area to motivate young boys into militancy.

This module was being spearheaded by Hizbul Mujahideen commander Parvez Wani alias  Mubashir R/O Gagloora Handwara, police said. 

Those arrested by police are Ansarullah Tantaray S/O Mohammad Munawar Tantary R/O Raipora,Palhalan, Abdul Rashid Bhat S/O Sonaullah Bhat R/O Minipora Sopore and Mehrajuddin Kak S/O Nazir Ahmad Kak R/O Andargam, Pattan.

 According to the sources, the module had plans to send a lot many boys to Pakistan on valid visa to get them trained in militant camps of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

One of the accused Abdul Rashid Bhat had visited Pakistan in the month of May this year.

Arms,ammunition and Rupees One Lakh Indian Currency was recovered from their possession.

Case FIR No 112 /2017 under sections of 13 Unlawful Activities Prevention Act has been registered in Police Station Pattan and investigation has been taken up.
