Jehangir concludes tour of Ladakh, reviews ongoing developmental works

Vice Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC), Sheikh Khalid Jehangir, today concluded his extensive tour to Ladakh region to inspect progress of various ongoing developmental works.

During his tour, the Vice Chairmen met Chief Executive Councilor (CEC) Dr. Sonam Dawa Lonpo of hill development council

Jehangir visited various projects sites during his tour, the Vice Chairmen was informed that work is going on in full swing and will be completed within set deadlines, which includes Trans Himalayan culture centre Leh project estimated of cost of rupees 30.06 crores, URBIS bridge estimated cost of rupees 534.40 Lacs and Laidoo Bridge Leh estimated cost of rupees 258.83 Lacs.

The Vice Chairmen also took the review meeting with JKPCC officials regarding ongoing projects at Nobra Degree College and Zaniskar Degree College. He stressed up on to complete ongoing work on bridges on priority and finishes it on time so that people living in mountain areas be facilitated.

During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Leh Prasana and CEC assured full support to JKPCC to make Ladakh at par with rest of country and assured that JKPCC will get permanent official accommodation at Leh.
