One dead, four critically injured in accident at Barsoo Awantipora
Five persons were critically injured when a Santro car, collided with a mini load-carrier on National Highway at Barsoo area of Awantipora in South Kashmir.
Eye witnessed said that a Santro car bearing registration number JK03B 8470 was on its way near Barsoo Village , when it collided with mini load-carrier (Chota Haathi) , 3 km from Awantipora on NH1A, resulting in injuries to five persons.
All the injured were shifted to nearby hospital. Among them one succumbed in Pampore hospital and other four have been shifted to Srinagar in critical condition.
The deceased youth has been identified as Faizan Mushtaq from Mirgund Anantnag.
