01 dies, minor injured in road accidents
One person died while a minor child was injured in two separate road accidents in Budgam and Kupwara, police said.
In Budgam, a Tractor driven by Ghulam Mohammad Yatoo son of Abdul Rehman resident of Nagam turned turtle at Nagam in the jurisdiction of Police Station Chadoora, resulting in on spot death of the driver. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kupwara, a Santro car bearing registration number JK09A-1018 driven by Qaiser Ali Ganie resident of Kalarooch, Kupwara hit and injured a child namely Yasir Ramzan Lone resident of Maidanpora, Bhamri at Bhamri, Drugmulla.
The injured child was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
