Awareness Programme under SVEEP held
On the direction of Election Commission of India, a special awareness camp was today organized by District Election Officer in collaboration with Judiciary and Labour department at CJM court complex Doda.
Chief Judicial Magistrate, O.P Thakur, Additional Special Mobile Judicial Magistrate, Arun Kotwal, Assistant labourer Commissioner Pradyot Gupta, number of advocates, election staff of District Election Cell and large number of senior citizens participated in the camp.
During the camp the speakers informed the participants about special drive launched by ECI to enroll the left out electors from July 01 to 31st. The focus of the special drive is to enroll the young citizen especially in the age group of 18-21 years w.r.t 01-01-2017 as qualifying date. Moreover on the occasion, pamphlets and form No.6 were also distributed to the public.
