Clashes were reported from Tral town of Pulwama district in south Kashmir after youth defied curfew and tried to march towards Burhan Wani’s grave on Saturday.

According to the reports, hundreds of youth defied curfew and started a march towards the Wani’s grave in Eidgah area of Sharifabad on his maiden death anniversary.

However, police and paramilitary forces deployed there resorted to tear smoke shelling to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes.

Witness said that forces personnel have been deployed around the Wani’s grave to prevent any rally.

Authorities have beefed up security to ensure that situation remains under control inthe wake of joint Resistance leadership’s call to march towards Tral, the native town of Hizb Commander Burhan Wani.
