JKDFP pays tributes to slain LeT militant

A delegation of Jammu & Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) on Sunday participated in the funeral prayers of Lashker-e-taiba (LeT) militant Bashir Lashkari at his ancestral village Soaf-Shali in Kokernag area of South Kashmir.

Led by Freedom party’s Er Farooq Ahmad Khan, the mammoth gathering paid rich tributes to slain martyrs and express solidarity with the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of DFP, Shabir Ahmad Shah addressed the gathering telephonically where he said that ‘sacrifices of martyrs’ brought the nation and resistance leadership on a single platform and need of the hour is to take forward the movement in a unified manner.

The other delegation members include Maulana Mudasir Ahmad, Maulana Sajad Ahmad, Maulana Iqbal Buland and other senior members and activists of the party.
