Train services remain suspended in Kashmir
In wake of prevailing situation in the valley that has developed after yesterdays’ killings in Anantnag , train services have been suspended in Kashmir. The Joint Resistance Leadership had alled for a valley-wide protests against these killings.
“We have suspended all trains today in the Kashmir valley following advisory from police and civil administration ”, a railway official said.
He said all trains operating from Srinagar to Budgam to Baramulla have been suspended.
Similarly, trains operating on Budgam to Srinagar and Anantnag and QAzigund have also been cancelled.
Pertinently, train services have been suspended several times last month for security reasons.
