Update: Dialgam Encounter: woman killed , heavy firing going on
A woman was killed during an encounter between militants and government forces in Dialgam Anantnag.
The deceased has been identified as Tahira , 41, wife of Ab Rasheed Chopan.
The encounter started today morning after forces laid siege in Dialgam Anantnag after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Pertinently, 03 LeT militants including Bashir Lashkiri are believed to be trapped in the ongoing encounter.
Bashir Lashkiri is beieved to be involved in killing of 06 policemen including SHO Achabal.
Following the cordon , intense clashes erupted between youth and forces.
Heavy exchange of fire was going on when last reports came in.
Meanwhile the district administration has ordered closure of all institutions in Anantnag.
