Another civilian killed in Anantnag; toll two
A civilian who was injured near the encounter site after government forces opened fire on protesters in Dialgam village in Anantnag district has succumbed at SKIMS Soura.
According to the reports, the civilian was hit by a bullet near the site of a gunfight between forces and militants earlier today.
The deceased was identified as Shadab Ahmad Chopan, a resident of Breinty. Ahmad was hit by a bullet in his neck.
The death of Ahmad is the second civilian death in the village so far. Earlier, a woman was killed after being hit by a bullet near the gunfight site.
