Kashmiri students throw Iftar bash at Aryans

Continuing its old tradition, the Kashmiri students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh, organized “Iftar” party at Masjid Near Nehru Park, Dal Lake, Srinagar to celebrate Ramadan.

Students of B.Tech, LL.B, BA-LL.B, MBA, BBA, BCA, GNM, ANM, B.Com, B.Sc (Agri), BA, Polytechnic Diploma of Aryans Group gathered at the venue. The students distributed free boxes containing dates, Bananas and juice to the people on the occasion helping them break their fast.

Students namely Tanzil, Furqaan, Mudassir, Shahnawaz  along with the staff members namely Amanpreet Singh, Rajdeep Kaur, Harash Kumar etc took the lead in organizing the Iftaar and actively participated in it.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that majority of students studying in Aryans are from the valley. He added that earlier also, the JK students of Aryans celebrated Eid Ul Fitr in a full swing with staff and management at Aryans campus situated at Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, Near Chandigarh.

Kataria further said that Aryans is becoming the first choice of JK Students in North India. Over 1500 students from various parts of JK are already studying in Aryans under different courses. These students have achieved many milestones in the field of academics, sports, cultural, innovations etc. In Academics, these students have won laurels for the Group by securing top positions in PTU Merit list.

Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General Aryans Group said that Aryans JK students have done various innovations. Recently 4 girls of Jammu & Kashmir have developed and launched “Ramadan App”. Earlier to this  “Aryans Android App” in lieu to make campuses paper free, “Aryans Save Kashmir App” which was developed for the rescue operation at the time of floods in Kashmir, “ Aryans Life Saving Glove” developed to provide timely assistance to the people prone to the risk of cardiac disease, “Aryans Safety Helmet” to provide timely first aid facility in case disaster happens at construction/ mining/ industrial sites were launched and applauded at various Government Levels and gained interest of many people.

To provide quality education to its students Aryans has entered into many foreign collaborations and tie ups with foreign Universities and colleges. This year the college has signed MoU with many renowned colleges of Vancouver, Singapore few of which are Sprott Shaw College, Six Capital, Loyalist College, Pearson Education Services etc.

It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. To help the needy & deserving students, Aryans has started various scholarship schemes including scholarship scheme for wards of Army personnel, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scholarship scheme, Late M.R. Kataria Memorial scholarship, Roshaan Scholarship scheme etc to pursue their higher education in various courses. 

Aryans Group has been serving the educational and intellectual interests of the youth in a commendable manner. The group is running Engineering College, Management College, Law College, Business School, Education College, Degree College, Nursing College and Aryans Public School.

It is worth mentioning that Aryans Group has been awarded for “Excellence in Education” by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Former President; Sh. Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab; Sh. Shivraj V Patil, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh; Dr. Kiran Bedi, First Women IPS Officer of India; S. Joginder Singh, Ex-Director, CBI etc. The Group has also been honoured for “Excellence in career building” by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for Human Resource Development, India.
