Shawal moon sighted in Pak, first day of Eid Al-Fitr on Monday
Shawwal moon sighted in the country and Monday (June 26, 2017), will be the first day of the month of Shawwal and the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, Pakistan media reported.
Eid Al-Fitr ‘festival of breaking fast’, marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan and the beginning of Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic lunar calendar. The festival is celebrated by the 1.6 billion Muslims across the globe.
