120 burnt to death in Bahawalpur Pakistan after oil tanker catches fire

At least 120 people were killed while 40 others were injured after an oil tanker caught fire in Bahawalpur city of Pakistan’s Punjab state, Dawn reported on Sunday.

According to the Pakistani newspaper, Over 100 people, including children, sustained severe burn injuries when they reportedly gathered to collect oil from the leaking tanker.

Fire services reportedly arrived at the site shortly after the incident. Rescue operations are currently underway. The injured are being transferred to a nearby hospital.
