Panel constituted to resolve land disputes

District Development Commissioner Ravinder Kumar today constituted five member panel to resolve all land disputes related to construction of school buildings.

In this regard, an order was issued by the DDC after observing lack of coordination among intending department and executing agencies entrusted upon the task of completing such projects in the district.

The members of the committee included Executive Engineer R&B, concerned Tehsildar, Block Development Officer, Head of Institution and Zonal Education Officer. All the members would jointly hold inspection of proposed sites of buildings and resolve the land disputes after proper negotiation with the land donors.

Reportedly the works of several buildings under RMSA, SSA, Elementary Education and Secondary Education were not undertaken due to minor issues of land thereby creating accommodation problems for the students.

The committee has also been asked to submit action taken report to the DDC within two weeks.
