Advisory for Amarnath pilgrims issued
In order to ensure safe and secure movement of yatri vehicles, police has asked all the pilgrioms bound for the Amarnath cave to cross the Jawahar tunnel by 3.30 pm.
This decision has been taken in consultation with civil administration and all the security agencies connected with the yatra, a police spokesman said.
“No yatra vehicle shall be permitted to cross the tunnel after the cut-off time. Yatris are requested to adhere to the advisory strictly and cooperate with the traffic police and security agencies,” the spokesman added.
