Gunfight breaks out in Pazalpora Sopore
Gunfight breaks out between militants and the government forces after security forces launched cordon and search operation in Pazalpora, Sopore yesterday evening.
According to the official sources, a joint team of 22RR, SOG and CRPF laid a siege at Pazalpora Village yesterday evening.
Soon after the siege, contact was established with hiding militants in suspected area.
Encounter has started and till last reports firing was going on.
Meanwhile , the authorities have directed telecom companies except BSNL to shutdown mobile towers in Baramulla and Sopore with immediate effect.
