Pampore observes shutdown for 5th consecutive day

A complete shutdown is being observed in Pampore town for the 5th consecutive day Tuesday to mourn the killing of three Lashkar-e-Toiba militants including one local militant.

On Friday, three LeT militants,  Junaid Matto of Khudwani Kulgam, Adil Ahmad Mir of Pampore and Waseem Ahmad of Heff Shopian and two civilians were killed in a gun battle with government forces at Arwani village of Bijbehara.

All government, private business establishments and schools are closed in Pampore town since Friday.
