Govt introduces helicopter services to Gurez at Rs 3000
State government has introduced helicopter service to picturesque Gurez valley tourists to promote its tourism potential. Locals can also avail the benefit of the service.
Department of tourism Kashmir has been appointed as its nodal agency which will also organize mega Gurez festival in order to promote the tourism in the valley.
At distance of 123 kilometers from Srinagar and 86 kilometers from the Bandipore district in North Kashmir, usually the cab takes 6 to 7 hours to reach the Gurez Valley.
The travellers can now reach the place in 20 minutes form Srinagar airport using chopper services.
