Army opens fire on passenger vehicle in Bandipora, 2 critically injured

Two civilians were critically injured in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district after Army allegedly opened fire on a passenger vehicle in the area.

According to the reports, army opened fire on a passenger sumo near Chek Reshipora when the duo was travelling for Friday prayers to Ahem sharief.

The injured have been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad son of Farooq Ahmad Jan of Qazipora and Fayaz Ahmad Haji son of Gh Hassan Haji resident of Qazipora.

The youth have been referred to Srinagar Hospital in critical condition after receiving initial treatment at Bandipora hospital.
