Hurriyat (M) chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and his media advisor Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam were placed under house arrest last night in the wake of a Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) progamme on the death anniversary of Moulana Yusuf Shah.
A spokesman of the JRL said that the prgramme is being organized at Aali Masjid in Srinagar from 3pm today.
