Syed Mubarik is new president KUOA
Syed Mubarik Ahmad, Deputy Registrar Kashmir University has been elected as President Kashmir University Officers Association (KUOA), in the KUOA elections 2017 held in the University of Kashmir today.
A post graduate in commerce as well as in management studies with a specialisation in Finance, Mr Mubarik Ahmad has earlier served in various capacities in the University of Kashmir. He has supervised the internal audit of the University, various accountancy branches and initiated the process of double entry system and compilation of financial statements.
Mrs Asmat Kawoosa, Deputy Registrar was elected Vice President, Showkat Shafi, Dy Director DIQA as General Secretary, Faheem Aslam PRO to Hon’ble VC as Media Secretary, and Mr Hamiduallh Bhat, Assistant Register as treasurer.
Besides Dr Feroz Ahmad Gurkoo, Dy. registrar, Mr Abdul Rashid Sofi Assistant Registrar and Dr Sheik Mohammad Imran, Assistant librarian were elected as executive members of the Association.
Immediately after his election as President, Mr Mubarik Ahmad said that he will try to come up to the expectations of the KUOA members and will always be available for solving their problems. He thanked the returning officer and his team for the successful conduct of the elections
The elections were held in the Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance and Chief Coordinator DIQA, Dr Manzoor Ahmad Shah acted as the returning officer for the KUOA Elections 2017.
