Government pre-pones Guru Hargobind ji birthday holiday to Saturday, June 10
The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday announced the preponing of the holiday on account of the birthday of Guru Hargobind ji to Saturday, June 10.
“In partial modification of Government Order No. 1345-GAD of 2016 and Government Order No. 1346-GAD of 2016 dated 09-12-2016, the holiday on account of ‘Guru Hargobind Ji’s Birthday’ shall be observed on 10th June, 2017 (Saturday) instead of 5th July 2017 (Wednesday) in the Government offices, educational institutions and under the Negotiable Instruments Act”, the General Administration Department order said.
