Adil Farooq Magray, a college student, was hit by a bullet in his chest after forces opened fire to disperse protesters who were pelting stones on them during a cordon and search operation on Tuesday evening.

Officials suspended 3G and 4G services in southern districts as precautionary measures. Sources said that except Jio, all the cellular companies suspended mobile internet services throughout the day in the southern district including Shopian and Pulwama.
