Students protest trigger clashes in Handwara
Hundreds of students of Government Degree College Handwara on Wednesday took to streets and started protesting against the killings of a student in Shopian district of South Kashmir during an encounter last night.
Sources said that the students raised anti-government and anti-India slogans and pelted stones on the forces.
Clashes erupted when government force used teargas shelling against the stone pelting students to disperse them.
Accordign to the reports, clashes in the area were going on when this report was filed.
