Man attempts suicide

In a bid to end his life, a man consumed some poisonous substance at his home in Anantnag, a police spokesman said.

He said that a man (name withheld) resident of Achabal, Anantnag consumed some poisonous substance at his home. He was shifted to hospital for treatment where from he was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
