Naeem Akhtar appeals Pandits to visit Kheer Bhawani shrine in huge numbers

Minister of Public Works Naeem Akhtar today visited Kheer Bhawani Shrine Tullamulla to take stock of arrangements being made on the eve of annual Mela Kheer Bhawani.

The Minister reviewed various facilities made for the pilgrims and also interacted with the visiting Pandits. The Minister appealed the Pandits to visit the shrine enmasse to revive the age old brotherhood. He said that local Muslims are waiting to welcome their brothers in Tullamulla.

The Minister said that to participate in the mela, pundits arrive from not only Jammu but from other states too. He expressed his concern over the rumours floated by certain sections that situation is not conducive in Kashmir. He said that Kashmir is 100 percent safe and people not need to pay any heed to rumours. He said that government and locals are at the forefront of welcoming the people and all facilities are being provided for their safe and pleasant journey. He appealed the people to continue with the traditions to visit Tullamulla.
