Police have foiled a bid by the youth to disrupt the vehicular movement in North Kashmir.

At least 9 youth were detained by the police during nocturnal raids from different areas of Pattan town in Baramulla district as, police sources said, a group of youth attacked some private vehicles on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway near Singhpora Pattan resulting in the injuries of few people.

Taking cognizance of the incident, police conducted nocturnal raids and arrested 9 youth. A case has been registered and the investigation was on.
