09 residential houses damaged in fire in Kupwara

Nine residential houses were damaged in a fire incident in Kupwara.

According to a Police statement issued here, fire broke out in the residential house of Saif-ul-Lah Mir resident of Kali Mohallah Zonireshi in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kralpora, Kupwara.

The fire also engulfed the nearby eight residential houses, resulting in damage to all the structures. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and police.

However, three persons identified as Mohammad Shafi Mir, Maqsood Ahmad Mir and Mohammad Shafi Mir residents of Kali Mohalla received minor burn injuries. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Kralpora for treatment.
