Restrictions to continue

Restrictions will continue for third consecutive day on Tuesday in various parts of Srinagar district falling under jurisdiction of seven police stations.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Lone said strict restrictions have been imposed in Khanyar, Nowhatta, Safa Kadal, MR Gunj, Rainawari, Maisuma and Kralkhud police station.

According to District Magistrate Anantnag strict restrictions would be in place in the territorial jurisdiction of the district tomorrow on 30 May, 2017 to prevent breach of peace and loss of life in view of the prevailing law and order situation.

Meanwhile, the district administration has also setup helpline services with 9596777669, 9419047052 and 9419367252 for the convenience of the people.

According to the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, class work in all the schools/Higher Secondary Institutions and Colleges of Kashmir Valley shall remain suspended tomorrow (May 30) as a precautionary measure.
