24 killed in twin bombing in Baghdad

24 people were killed and dozens injured when Twin car bombs rocked Baghdad on Tuesday, media reports said.

According to the reports, the ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Jihadist group ISIS claimed responsibility for the first blast outside a popular ice cream shop just after midnight, that killed at least 15 and wounded 40 in commercial Karrada district.

The second explosives-laden car went off during rush hour near the state-run Public Pension Office near the al-Shahada (Martyrs’) Bridge in the busy Shawaka district, killing at least nine and wounding 30 more.

However, there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the second bombing.
