Sham Choudhary kick-starts developmental works in Suchetgarh

Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Sham Lal Choudhary today kick started developmental works to the tune of Rs 15.25 lakhs at various places in Suchetgarh constituency.

 The Minister started the blacktopping work of 500 metre long Ramnagar Basti-Badiyal Brahamna road in Suchetgarh to be constructed at the cost of Rs. 5.25 lakh.

 He also inaugurated newly constructed lanes and drains at Ramnagar Basti-Badiyal Brahamna and Roop Nagar Basti constructed at the cost of Rs. 5 lakh each under CAPEX budget.

 While addressing the locals, the Minister said the government is taking one step after the other for the development of the State and special focus is being given to the development of border areas. He further said that a comprehensive plan has been prepared under which upgradation of infrastructure in all essential sectors including R&B, PHE, Irrigation, PDD, Education, Health, Sports and Transport would be done.

 Later, the Minister also convened a public grievance redressal camp at Suchetgarh in which villagers hailing from Panjgrain, Shera Chak, Nanowali, Korotana, Sai Kalan and Flora participated.

 The villagers apprised the Minister about the problems being faced by them related to power supply, water supply, education, sanitation and healthcare. After listening to the grievances of the people, the Minister assured them that their grievances would be redressed in a time bound manner.
