According to the sources, the Internet will be blocked shortly in the valley. Fearing an uprising, authorities decided to block the internet in the Valley.
Sources said that all the telecom companies in the valley have already got the instruction to suspend the data services.
Pertinently, the government has yesterday lifted the ban on social media sites after around two months.
The government has banned the internet on April 09 after violence erupted in the valley during Srinagar constituency by-polls.
