Chaos and confusion engulfed the entire city soon after the news of the killing of Hizb Commander, Sabzar Bhat during an encounter in South Kashmir’s Tral area, spread across lengths.

People were seen returning back to their homes, while it was called a day for kids in crèche, middle and primary schools.

Students from Kashmir University and other colleges were also seen, calling it a day, and trying to reach to safer places as soon as possible.

Fearing that the situation may turn ugly, a huge rush of people was witnessed outside petrol pumps, who were lined up to refill their vehicles, while some petrol pump owners have decided to keep their stations closed for today.

“I don’t know how the situation will emerge, so it is better to keep tanks filled,” said Waseem Ahmad.

In order to keep a tab on the situation, govt in the afternoon once again snapped mobile internet services till further orders.

Pertinent to mention, the govt had lifted a month-long ban on social networking sites last evening, however, today after Tral encounter, the govt once again decided shut down mobile internet services.
