Tassaduq undertakes extensive tour of Anantnag District

Coordinator, Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell, Tassaduq Mufti today under took an extensive tour of Anantnag District.

During the visit, Tassaduq inspected Mini Secretariat Complex, where he interacted with the district administration and directed for ensuring fast deliverance of the public services to the people, so that the benefit of various welfare schemes is extended to them. He also called for maintaining a close liaison with   the populace by actively obtaining the requisite feedback from them about the status of various development programs and also involving them in implementation of various welfare schemes.

He also called for the auditing of various government building as well as infra so that the dilapidated ones can be restored or reconstructed. He directed the concerned officials to conduct structural integrity tests to check that they do not pose any threat to public.

Tassaduq also directed urban development officials to implement systematic garbage collection and its disposal mechanism. He also called for undertaking a massive sanitation and cleanliness drive in the area.

While inspecting the District hospital at Anantnag, Tassaduq directed the officers for providing quality health care facilities to the patients. He also called for undertaking the necessary measures for installation of magnetic disintegrator in the institution, besides organizing sensitization workshops for paramedical staff to aware them about proper handling and disposal of medical waste. He said that medical waste needs specialized handling and should be properly segregated into dry/wet/ hazardous waste for proper recycling and disposal.

          He also visited the Maternity Hospital Sherbagh and called for providing the requisite medical facilities to the patients under the consultation and also being admitted there. He laid focus on developing a systematic mechanism for waste management to ensure that sanitation standards are maintained.
