Stressing on the need of religious education in contemporary times, Ameer Jama’at e Islami Chulam Muhammad Bhat inaugurated a residential hostel for female students in Baba-Daryadeen Ganderbal.

Bhat said that many misconceptions have prevailed in the society because proper teachings of Islam have not been shared.

“Today we see Muslim women are diverged from real source of knowledge i.e.Quran and Sunnah and due to ignorance they get easily deceived from the influence of anti-Islamic elements,” he said. He added that women have been deprived from all rights granted by the creator of this universe to them in the teachings of Quran and Sunnah.

Emphasizing on the need for an Islamic justice System he said that it is the only way to stop prejudices against women.

“For the same, Human Welfare Trust had decided to establish a residential institute so that female students will be provided religious teachings, besides a training program for women folk so that they will perform their social responsibilities,” Bhat said.

By the end of this year HWT is going to commence class work and initially 40-50 girl students will be enrolled.

Meanwhile Former Ameer-e-Jama’at Muhammad Abdullah Wani also spoke and expressed gratitude over the said effort and thanked present HWT management for establishing such institution.
