High-tech surveillance system to be installed in DSEK

As a major step towards e-governance, Secretary School Education, Farooq Ahmad Shah in presence of Director School Education Kashmir, Staff Officers of Directorate and Chief Education Officers today inaugurated high-tech surveillance system in Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK).

          The Secretary also launched on-line registration of private schools in a forward step towards betterment of education system besides increasing transparency. He said that this will help simplify registration and extension process for private school therefore making them contributors in improving the school education system in the state.

          He said education should be free from corruption and teachers should be given utmost respect. He directed the officials that there should not be any delay in disposal of cases including regularization of ReT’s, Medical reimbursement claim and other cases.

          On this occasion, it was informed that during last two months more than 1500 cases of different categories of employees have been cleared and orders issued. It was assured that all the pending cases of regularization of ReT’s, Medical reimbursement claim and other cases will be cleared shortly.

          Director School Education Kashmir assured Secretary that his instructions shall be followed in letter and spirit.
