SKPSA organises inter school conference
The South Kashmir Private Schools Association (SKPSA) organised a day long inter-school conference on “importance of moral education” at Dooru in Anantnag.
Besides the civil society members, chairmen of private schools and students from 35 schools participated in the conference. Among the prominent people who attended the event include Mohammed Ibrahim Boda (President Auqaf Islamia Dooru), Javaid Ahmad Khan (social worker) while the department of education was represented by ZEPO, Dooru.
The conference was chaired by well-known personality of the Dooru, Sher Ali Bhoda. The speakers highlighted the importance of moral education in schools and gave some suggestions for its effective implementation in schools.
Shah Gulzar, President, SKPSA, in his concluding address highlighted the importance of moral education and its implementation in the schools. He also highlighted the role of Association and its effectiveness in the present circumstances and urged the school managements to work hard so that the highest quality of educational standard may be maintained.
At last prizes were distributed among the students. Irtiza Shaban of SMAIE Dehruna, Sayib Javaid of Berlin Presentation, Dooru, and Bisa Hassan of SAGM, Dehruna bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
