New Delhi’s wrong policies lead to unrest at borders: Farooq

Member Parliament and National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah Monday described the uncertainty at India-Pakistan border as the result of New Delhi’s wrong policies.

The senior Abdullah said that PDP-BJP coalition government has brought Jammu Kashmir on the verge of destruction.

      “Every passing day, the situation deteriorates while fanatic forces have becoming stronger day by day,” Farooq Abdullah said while interacting party workers from Udhampur, Banihal, Bijbehara, Kangan and Baramulla here in Srinagar.

     He said uncertainty grips Kashmir Valley while communal elements are ruling the roost in Jammu. “On the one hand the unabated crack downs, random arrests and nocturnal raids, ransacking of houses and killings are undertaken to create uncertainty in Kashmir while on the other hand people are being harassed by communal forces who enjoy the patronage of the government,” Farooq Abdullah said.

     He said that with active support from Government, Hindu fanatic organization RSS will organize an All India Conference in Jammu. Both the state and central government are busy in phony war while on ground nothing has changed.

    “People have been suffering while PDP is busy in appeasing RSS to save chair,” he said and warned both State and Central Government of serious consequences in case a middle path is not adopted to find solution to Kashmir problem.
