Army pays homage to slain soldiers

Army on Monday said that it paid homage to three of its soldiers who were killed in a major counter infiltration operation launched along the Line of Control (LoC) in North Kashmir’s Naugam sector. During which, as per the statement by Army spokesperson, four heavily armed militants were killed.

 “Joined by top officials from Civil Administration and other Security Forces operating in the Valley, the Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen JS Sandhu paid rich tributes to Havaldar Giris Gurung, Havaldar Damar Bahadur Pun and Rifleman Rabin Sharma in a solemn ceremony in BB Cantt, Srinagar”, the spokesperson said in a statement.
