Ganga inaugurates dev works in Vijaypur

Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today inaugurated various road upgradation works in different areas of Vijaypur Assembly constituency.

The Minister was accompanied by Xen PWD, Tehsildar Ramgarh and officials from PHE and PDD departments.

 

The Minister also kick started blacktopping of Gho Brahmana-Raika Labana and Raika Labana-Bandral roads. The 10 km road stretch under city and Town road scheme is being executed by PWD with an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 crore. Besides, road protection works at Khadgal and blacktopping at Sukhani Tallab worth Rs 10 lakh each were also kick-started.

The Minister said that improved road connectivity in these areas will boost the local economy besides ensuring road safety.

Meanwhile, several deputations called on the Minister and apprised of various issues pertaining to their areas and sought  his intervention for redressal of the same.

Later, the Minister along with MLA Samba, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal participated in Maharana Partap Jayanti celebration organized by Dharm Jagran Sabha and Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha.
