Newly selected Wireless Operators in Police department have complained that the department is yet to issue their joining orders despite them having been selected five months ago.

The aggrieved aspirants appealed the Director General of Police to intervene so that they can join their duties.

“Our appointment in the department was made in January this year, but we are waiting for the last five months to join the duties. When we visit the Police Control Room, the officials concerned tell us that they are yet to receive any written order from the higher ups for our joining,” the aggrieved operators said.

Around 234 wireless operators were appointed by the police this year in January after proper recruitment.
