Minister reviews progress of ERA, PHE works in Charar-e-Sharief

Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, today convened a meeting to review progress on various developmental works undertaken by Public Health Engineering and Economic Reconstruction Agency in the Charar-e-Sharief Constituency.

During the meeting, the Minister asked the concerned to complete macadamization of 2.5 kms of road length from Nowhar to Hanjura and complete the repair works of PHE water pipes from Nowhar to Zuhama by the end of May 2017.

Hanjura directed the ERA officials for formulating a comprehensive proposal for establishing of Water Supply Scheme in the Charar-e-Sharief Constituency.

He further directed the Chief Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control, Kashmir to conduct a survey of the land for an all-encompassing irrigation scheme for the Constituency under PMKSY.

Officers of PHE and ERA also briefed the Minister in detail about the progress of other public works in the Constituency. 

The Minister directed the concerned officers to work with utmost dedication and pace up work on all developmental works under execution in the Constituency for their time-bound completion.

Among other, the meeting was attended by the Director ERA, Chief Engineer PHE Kashmir and other Officers of PHE and ERA.
