Saying that the Government must not leave any stone unturned to ensure justice for Kulbhushan Jadhav and his return to our country, the leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha and senior Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad Thursday welcomed the unanimous decision of International Court of Justice (ICJ) granting a stay on execution of Kulbhushan Jadhav by Pakistan, pending the final decision of the Court.

According to the statement issued here, Azad said, “The case against Kulbhushan Jadhav by Pakistan was a sham and was in gross violation of the International law as his execution was ordered by a kangaroo court without consular access. It is appreciated that the World Court saw reason in Indian appeal and could see through the false Pakistan propaganda by rightly turning down their request to play the purported confessional video during a hearing earlier.” said Azad.

Azad congratulated the Indian team, which represented the country in the International Court of Justice and stressed that the Government should not leave any stone unturned to ensure justice for Kulbhushan Jadhav and his return to our country.
