Aadhar based identification of casual labourers
To finalise the Aadhar based identification and skill profile of casual labourers of Agriculture Department Kashmir division, Director Agriculture Kashmir, Altaf Aijaz Andrabi chaired a high level meeting on Wednesday of the Divisional Level and District Level officers at Agricultural Complex Lalmandi.
Director Agriculture Kashmir emphasized on all the officers to finalise the list of casual labours who are genuine and have Aadhar based identifications and must have continuity and drawing wages as well. The submitting of list of genuine casual labours to government in the Aadhar based identification was discussed in length and breadth with all the officers.
He also said that all the genuine casual labours should be listed so that there is no dropout in future. Some of the officers submitted the lists on the spot to Deputy Director Central and others have sought two days-time for submitting the list.
Deputy Director Central was instructed to compile the lists of genuine casual labourers and submit to Agriculture Production Department within two days.
The meeting was attended by all the Joint Directors, Divisional level officers and Chief Agriculture Officers of Kashmir Division.
