Minister reviews PHE works in Kupwara district
Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Justice, Abdul Haq today reviewed the status of work of PHE sector on various ongoing projects in Kupwara district.
The meeting was attended by Chief Engineers of PHE, I&FC, R&B, Executive Engineers of PHE and I&FC, Superintending Engineers of PHE and I&FC besides other senior officials of these departments.
Meeting was informed about the latest status of various works including construction of storage tanks, Waster Supply Schemes, Irrigation canals and flood protection works.
Officials apprised the minister that Water tank at Chandigam will be completed by the end of July month while other tanks will be completed by the month of November.
Abdul Haq directed the officials to expedite the work on the ongoing projects so as to complete the projects within stipulate time.
