LoC flare-up: Heavy exchange of fire in Rajouri

The Armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy shelling and firing on Wednesday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, sources said.

“Pakistan army started unprovoked ceasefire violation in Balakot sector at 12.50 a.m. which continued till 1.30 a.m. today (Wednesday),” an army official said.

“Our troops have befittingly replied to the shelling and firing,” the army official added.

 However, no loss of life was reported from either side of the LoC.
