ADC seeks cooperation of Beopar Mandal to curb use of polythene

Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Avny Lavasa, today held a meeting with the representatives of Beopar Mandal and sought their cooperation   in spreading awareness among people about the harmful effects of polythene.

The ADC asked the participants to generate awareness regarding the use of polythene having thickness of more than 50 microns.  Besides, during the meeting, CEO MC Udhampur was asked to ensure that all the shopkeepers and vendors use polythene having thickness not less than 50 microns. He was also asked to organize awareness camps in this regard.

CPO Ashok Khajuria, Deputy Director RDD Jammu , Aashiq Hussain Bhat, District Panchayat Officer, Sandeep Seointra, CEO MC Santosh Kotwal, AD FCS & CA Haroon Naik, Tehsildar Udhampur Javed Iqbal Rather, EO Ramnagar Dilip Kumar , President Beopar Mandal , Surinder Singh Khalsa were present in the meeting.
