Zakir Musa, who recently left HM, in a fresh video today, vowed to continue his fight against India and thanked Alqaeda for their support.

In the video clip that was released by him today, Zakir, who headed the Hizbul Mujahedeen (HM) following the death of Burhan Wani, has said that he will continue his fight against Indian rule and the excesses committed by the forces here in the state. However the militant commander reiterated his commitment towards the fight for Islamic state.

Zakir Musa said that though he doesn’t belong to any militant outfit however he would continue to fight against the Indian forces.  Zakir said that all the Mujahedeen (militants) in Kashmir follow the same ideology and that they will not allow the “India to take undue advantage” over their differences. “All the Mujahedeen (militants) firmly believe in Shariyat and Shahadat,” Zakir said, while strongly being against working towards nationalism.   “We should not become Nazam parast (pro-party) or Qaum parast (nationalist),” he said.

Hizbul Mujahedeen had recently dissociated from his statement that he would behead Hurriyat leaders and hang their heads at Lal Chowk in Srinagar if they persist with their stand that the Kashmir’s struggle was for creation of secular state and not an Islamic one. After Hizb distanced from his statement, he quit the outfit.

“I want to thank everyone who without understanding anything pointed fingers at me. Every Muhajid wants the same thing, I talked about. They follow the same path. I request everybody to be united and we need not to be nationalists,’’ he said.

Reiterating his disassociation with HM, Zakir Musa said that the HM may get a new commander. “Perhaps I was not worthy to be a commander, I hope Allah willing, they will send you a very good commander.’’

He said that the people should foil efforts of Indian agencies to take advantage of the differences within the militant outfits. “The Indian agencies will want to take advantage of our differences and I want to make some things clear here. Neither we have extorted money from somebody nor will we do it in future. Anybody who asks money in my name, you should understand that he is an Indian stooge.’’

He said that in case they have to kill anybody he will release the video first. “We will release video like we did in past whenever we have to kill somebody, so that nobody can create rift between us. I am with those who stand for Shariya and martyrdom.’’  Making a special mention of Al-Qaeda he thanked them for standing with him. “We are with them and they have stood by us,’’ he said.

While stating that he doesn’t need support of any other militant organization, Zakir while referring  Kashmiri Taliban and Harkat ul Mujahideen, who recently lend him their support, said that “ If they are Indian intelligence agencies, then I want to tell them that you can’t fool us.’’  In the video he also praised Afzal Guru for his views on Jehad.
